The 18th season of Mrs. Chennai 2019, sponsored by SUPREME LIVING was a grand event organised by Adgear Media & Virgo Events on 14th Dec @ Hotel Leela Palace. This grand event with dinner also coincided with the 25th year of founding Virgo as a brand by Mrs. Poornima Kumar.

The all women jury consisted of Actress Priya Raman, Sakshi Agarwal Consul General of Thailand and Mrs. Jayashree of Palam Silks etc. The winners were Dr. Priyanka Cholan, Mrs. Arthi Ram and Mrs. Deepti Bisani. The event was choreographed by Karun Raman.

Mrs. Chennai 2017 was a landmark event in the journey of Mrs. Chennai which was organized in association with ADGEAR MEDIA and happened in the prestigious Sir Mutha Venkata Subba Rao Hall on 24-6-2017. The concept was redesigned to accommodate 30 gorgeous ladies walking in the first round to the soulful singing of Singer Karthik who performed for one hour.

Actress Simran and Actor Ganesh Venkatram endorsed the event, which was extensively promoted on facebook and received over 2 lakh likes.

The sixteenth edition of Mrs. Chennai and the 4th edition of Miss Madras was completed successfully on the 27th of Feb, in spite of the deluge Chennai went through in December. Praylady, specialists in stylized cookware was the title sponsor. JJ Diamonds and Style One were the co sponsors. The contestants showcased Style One clothes for all the rounds and were looking scintillating. The judges were actress Uma Riyaz, Miss South India- Meera Mithun ( who was incidently our Miss Madras 2014), the beautiful singer Anita Kuppusamy and the male judges were Jeffery Vardon from O2 and Mr. India Bharat.

PGPJOYERIA Mrs. CHENNAI 2014 powered by CATCH Masala

Virgo proudly presented its 15th season of Mrs. Chennai sponsored by PGP JOYERIA and powered by Catch Masala at the Kamaraj Arangam on the 23rd Jan 2015. Virgo also presented the third season of Miss Madras. The Retro Round of the Mrs and the Pavadai Davani round of the Miss contestants wearing the Diamond jewelery of PGP Joyeria showcased the innovative choreography of Mr. Sanjay Asrani which drew thumping applause from the audience. The fillers by Robot Ganesh and ArtRobe Dance Studio were superb. The show as anchored very lively by Manoj and Monisha.

NATURALS MISS & MRS. TAMILNADU 2013

NATURALS was once again the branding sponsor for Miss & Mrs. Tamilnad 2013 which happened in the open lawns of Hotel GRT Radisson Blu which had participants from all over Tamilnad vying for the title.The eminent jurists were dancer Priyadarshini Govind - director of Kalakshetra, cine artistes Dr. Sharmila, Mr. Arvind, Dr. Karthick and Mr Vikram Cotah Senior Vice President of GRT Radisson. AIRTEL Super Singer finalist Malavika was the MC and Thrill Veera thrilled the audience with his performance.Super singer Malavika anchored the show.

Virgo Events with 12 seasons of Mrs. Chennai to its credit expanded its 13th season to MISS AND MRS. TAMILNAD 2012 which was sponsored by NATURALS Unisex Salons and co sponsored BY WELLA. The hunt for Miss & Mrs.Tamilnadu stretched over 6 weeks after scouring Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore and Chennai for participants. Miss and Mrs. Madurai happened in GRT Regency with Minister Sellur Raja as Chief Guest. Femina Hotel in Trichy hosted the Miss and Mrs. Trichy. Le Meridien in Coimbatore played host for the Miss and Mrs. Coimbatore. GRT Radisson was the host in Chennai.

The event received wide coverage in all the social medias. The Miss Tamilnad winners were- Sruti, Sanjana and Namrata and the Mrs. Tamilnad winners out of more than 500 participants were Preeti, Richa and Jeevitha. Actress Devayani was the Chief Guest.

Associate sponsors were - Butterfly, Suguna Chicken, Kiah's, Tarith tharang and Club Mahindra. The Hindu was the media partner.

Kiah's Mrs. Chennai 2011 co sponsored by Catch Salt & Spices was a holiday treat for Chennai as it happened on the 27th of December 2011 during Chennai's winter holidays. The 12 finalists astounded the audience with the wedding salwar collection from Kiah's. Their dancing to kollywood and bollywood numbers need special mention. With Femina Tamil as one of our co sponsors and featuring the event in Femina, is one of the highlights of this 12th edition of Mrs. Chennai.

October 30th saw the 11th season of MRS.CHENNAI sponsored by the ESTHELL GROUP OF HOTELS AND RESORTS. The honor of being Mrs. Chennai after grueling sub events and challenging final day events went to software engineer Mrs. Nila Rajeevan and runners up-Swathi Sreejith and Praveena Viswanath.

Dr. Kamala Selvaraj and Mrs. Shoba Chandrasekar, singer were honored as the HONORARY MRS. CHENNAI 2010 and Mrs. Radhika Sarathkumar was the Chief Guest. Entertainer Eliyas entertained the audience with his singing and simultaneously made the portraits of the distinguished guests.

This was a landmark event for Virgo Events as we celebrated a decade of conducting Mrs. Chennai with the NATURALS MRS. CHENNAI 2009 co sponsored by DEVATHAI women's magazine.

To commemmorate the occasion a Souvenir recording the JOURNEY OF MRS. CHENNAI was released by Dr. Kamala Selvaraj and received by Neerja Mallik. Virgo also instituted the HONORARY MRS. CHENNAI title to identify and felicitate one woman of Chennai who embodies the spirit of the event, and the title went to Mrs. Nina Reddy.

NATURALS MRS. CHENNAI launched in torrential rains received overwhelming response of over 500 women from all ages who went through 10 phenomenal rounds and the winners were Mrs. Murphy Vadhan, First runner up- Mrs. Moumita Chatterji and second runner-up- Mrs. Priyanka Bardia. 40+ title went to Mrs. Usha Rani and 50+ title went to Mrs. Harini Srnivasan.

Mrs.Chennai 2008. The ninth year of MRS. CHENNAI was held on the 4th of Dec 2008 at the Kamarajar Arangam. Amrutanjan Cutis Olive Oil was the title sponsor and Life cell International was the Co-sponsor. Shreya Manoj, a biotechnologist won the Amrutanjan Cutis Mrs. Chennai 2008 title. The first runner up was Rema, ex-Naval Officer and now HR professional. Second runner-up was Rachna, a customer care manager of the mutual fund company. The show was choreographed by Mr. Sanjay Asrani and compered by TV anchor and actress Ms. Priyadarshini. The hospitality sponsor for the event is Hotel Accord Metropolitan. Mr. Bhaskar who danced like a Duo personality won huge applause.

The eighth edition of Mrs. Chennai took place successfully in the Music Academy on the 3rd of September 2007 . Dr. Priya Selvaraj was crowned Mrs. Chennai 2007 and the 1st runner up was Ms. Lakshmi Narendra Raj and the second runner up was Ms. Chandana was crowned by Actress Gowthami. Entertainment by jugglers Ashok and Anand was a big hit.

JM Realtors MRS. CHENNAI 2006 was a grand success with never before gifts for the winners. This mega event happened at the Chennai Trade Centre on the 17th of December 2006 before an audience of over 1200 people. Mrs. Lakshmi Venkatesh was the winner and the title sponsor a realtor, gave her one ground of land on the prestigious East Coast Road in Chennai. The first runner up was Mrs. Deepa ,and she won an electric scooter from the company ZUZUCK. A pilot, Captain Indra, was declared the second runner- up.

The sixth edition of Mrs. Chennai 2005 happened on the 8th of October 2005 at the Chennai Convention Centre, Chennai. The title sponsor was Saffola and it was sponsored by l'Amicale. Associate sponsors were, Sakthi, Nathella, Rasathe Garments. There were 13 finalists from over 60 contenders. The Winner was Mrs. Mili Verghese and the 1st runner up was Mrs. Sishira Reddy and the 2nd runner up was Deepa Waghwe. Actor Vivek was the Chief Guest and the judges. 1,500 people witnessed the show and the show was telecasted on Raj TV.

MRS. CHENNAI 2004 on the 5th of Dec 2004 at Music Academy was performed to a full house. VBC JEWELLERY as the title sponsors made the winners happy as they received gold jewellery as prizes! Actress and dancer Sunita was the winner followed by Vaidehi and Shalini as the runners up. Cadd centre, Maverick Gym, Viveks, Elac and Diviniti were some of the associate sponsors.

The chief guest was Actress Gowthami and the show was choreographed by Sanjay Asrani. Jaya Tv was the official Channel partner.

 MRS. CHENNAI 2003 shifted venue to the Music Academy and was sponsored by MODFURN and co sponsored by JFA. The winners were Dhanya, Lakshmi and Sunita. This event was unique as the contestants had a round in Home Decor and Furniture designing. Hotel Residency Towers provided the Hospitality, and Scooty Pep, Birla Sunlife, Nathella and Pothys were some of the associates. Entertainment by Robot Ganesh received a special mention.
